Poor guy. Here, let me play the world’s smallest violin, made entirely out of Bitcoins.

Sounds something like this I bet.

In other words, they don’t want to give a convicted felon the chance to be an illegal alien in the USA. That’s the same screening the INS uses for any other nationality applying for a visa. Too bad, so sad.

When he renounced his citizenship, he also renounced any claims he has to being treated like a US citizen. Cannot have it both ways…

Yeah…pretty ignorant for a supposed smart guy.

When I met my husband I lived in Chicago and he in Canada. When we got to the point where we knew we were going to make a life-long commitment, Canada used exactly the same verbiage on me (even though I owned [and still own] multiple properties in the US and had mortgage, utility bills and other types of documentation) when one time crossing into Canada I had forgotten to put that documentation in my car. They turned me away from Canada and I had to spend the night in a hotel since it was already around midnight when I was trying to cross. I had to print out all the stuff from the internet to get into Canada the next day.

We wound up getting married a few months later.

I think we would have been perfectly happy just living together (we’re both mid 50s) but the border issue made us make the decision as to just how committed to each other we would be.

It’s not just this Libertarian asshole…it is how the system works. No matter who you are.

This might be the only part of the system that doesn’t care if you’re a zillionaire.

But a galtian super man cannot be inconvenienced, while he is inconveniencing others or something cause he is a special snowflake. Just deserts for a basic libertarian knot head.

He really should have thought about that before having a tantrum about his taxes.

Ace-o-aces,

He got what he deserved as far as I’m concerned!

With FACTA, accidental US citizens (children born in the US to non-US citizens) are the ones the really get stuck in the ringer-as far as the IRS is concerned, they’re US citizens and have to pay US taxes, even though they may have moved out of the US when they were children and never set foot in the US since then.

But in the case of this douchecanoe, He’s not even in the Edouardo Saverin sphere. Then again, Tina Turner renounced her US citizenship and lives in Switzerland.
